Product Questions

Yes. Truffoire products are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. They are dermatologist tested and hypo allergenic, however, if you have sensitive or allergic skin, it’s always recommended to do a patch test first before trying any new skincare product.

Each product is designed for specific skin care needs. Depending on different goals, you can mix and match different collections or products to achieve the maximum result. Each product has been carefully formulated to improve aging and problematic skin. Truffoire offers different collections and products which address specific skin types or concerns.

Skin exfoliation is essential to any skincare regimen. The exfoliation process helps polish the skin and remove excess dirt, makeup and debris while promoting a higher cellular-turnover rate. Exfoliants encourage better product penetration and improves the effectiveness of your skincare regime. Old cell should be removed once a week to maximize healthy cell production.

Toner is a liquid that is applied after a cleanser is removed. This step is very important because it helps kill bacteria in the skin, rebalance the skin’s pH, soothe and hydrate the skin, and remove any makeup and dirt remaining on the skin. Toners typically utilize various oils and botanical extracts to treat different skin issues. Tea tree oil, salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide are used in toners for acne. Chamomile is often used for dry and sensitive skins. A lightening toner will use glycolic acid, kojic acid and botanical extracts to brighten your complexion.

Facial masks are used for skincare treatments to purify your skin and restore a youthful glow. Masks come in a variety of formulations, everything from clay to treat oily skin, enzymes to gently exfoliate, plumping and firming ingredients for aging skin, hydrators for dry skin, and anti-inflammatories to soothe and calm sensitive skin.

Yes, all of our products are paraben free. Our goal is to provide your skin with healthy solutions and results, not chemicals, cheap fillers, and harsh preservatives.

We know during this exciting time, you want to do what is best for your body and your baby and we want the same for you during this time.

We use a lot of mild and natural based ingredients which are safe for pregnant women without harsh chemicals or parabens, and we avoid the list of common irritants during this time, but if you are concerned about a specific ingredient, please consult your OBGYN if you are unsure or have questions.

On the packaging of each product you will find a "box looking" icon with a number and the letter "M" next to it, for example: "20M" or "24M" - this number represents the number of months your product will remain in high quality before expiring - from the moment you first open the product.

Allergies to our products are not common. If you have been using a more synthetic line for a long period of time, there may be a ‘transition period’, in which the skin may detox or get used to the new products.

Those reactions are also uncommon, but feel free to email us if you are concerned about a reaction you are experiencing. If the reaction is severe, of course, please stop using the product.
